Jesseca Ferguson
Tytuły Master of Fine Arts na Tufts University, Bachelor of Fine Arts w Massachusetts College of Art, AB (dyplom z wyróżnieniem) na Harvardzie. Od 1991 roku zajmuje się fotografią otworkową, pracuje w XIX-wiecznej technice fotografii i kolażu. Jej prace były eksponowane na indywidualnych i zbiorowych wystawach w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Polsce, Francji, Włoszech, Belgii, Danii, Czechach i Anglii. Kolekcje jej prac, wykonanych techniką otworkową, znajduje się w zbiorach Biblioteki Narodowej Francji, Muzeum Fotografii w Odense w Danii, Muzeum Historii Fotografii w Krakowie, Fogg Art Museum w Cambridge, Muzeum Sztuk Pięknych w Bostonie, Polaroid Collection w Somerville oraz wielu innych.
Fotografie otworkowe autorstwa Ferguson publikowane były w pozycjach książkowych, magazynach i katalogach w Stanach Zjednoczonych i Europie. Ferguson była współkuratorką wystawy "Made in Poland. Contemporary Pinhole Photography", która w 2007 roku była obecna w trzech galeriach w Massachusetts. Otrzymała stypendium od LEF Foundation, Trust for Mutual Understanding i Fort Point Arts Community Inc. na wydanie dwujęzycznego katalogu i zorganizowanie w Bostonie tygodniowej wymiany artystycznej z siedmioma artystami z Polski.

Jesseca Ferguson
MFA, Tufts University; BFA, Massachusetts College of Art; AB (magna cum laude), Harvard University. Currently works with pinhole cameras, 19th century photographic processes, and collage. Her work has been included in solo and group exhibitions in the US, Poland, France, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and England. Collections holding her pinhole photographs include Bibliotheque nationale de France; Museet fur Fotokunst, Odense, Denmark; Muzeum Historii Fotografii, Kraków, Poland; Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, MA; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA; Polaroid Collection, Somerville, MA, among others. Her work has been supported by grants and residencies including Art Matters; Engelhard Foundation; MacDowell Colony; Goethe Institute; TransCultural Exchange; International Colony of Artists, Debrecen, HU; and Polaroid Corporation, among others. Her pinhole photographs have been published in books, magazines, and catalogues in the US and Europe.
Ferguson co-curated the exhibition Made in Poland: Contemporary Pinhole Photography which traveled to three venues in Massachusetts venues during 2007. She received grants from LEF Foundation, Trust for Mutual Understanding, and Fort Point Arts Community, Inc. to produce a bilingual catalogue and to bring all seven of the Polish artists to Boston for a week of cultural and artistic exchange.
She lives, works, and teaches in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
