Scott McMahon
Otrzymał tytuł MFA w dziedzinie fotografii w Massachusetts College of Art w Bostonie oraz tytuły MA i BFA w dziedzinie fotografii na University of the Arts w Filadelfii. Jest obecnie pracownikiem wydziału Sztuki i Design'u Pennsylvania College w Lancaster i Lebanon Valley College w Annville.
Poprzednio wykładał na Kutztown University, The University of the Arts and University of Pennsylvania. Jego prace zostały opublikowane w "Pinhole Photography, Rediscovering a Historic Technique" (2 i 3 wydanie, autorstwa Erica Renner'a), "The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes" (1 i 2 wydanie autorstwa Christophera James'a). Scott McMahon
received his MFA in photography from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA and his BFA in Photography from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. He is currently a faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in Lancaster, PA and Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. Previous teaching positions include: Kutztown University, The University of the Arts and University of Pennsylvania. His work has been published in Pinhole Photography, Rediscovering a Historic Technique 2nd & 3rd edition by Eric Renner, The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes 1st & 2nd edition by Christopher James. Scott has exhibited throughout the United States, recent exhibitions include: Forgotten Attributes, Three Columns Gallery at Harvard University (solo), Fireflies, Bridgette Mayer Gallery, Philadelphia (collaborative), The Bioluminescent Firefly Experiment, University City Arts League, Philadelphia (collaborative) and E3 Gallery in NY (solo). Scott works primarily with historic photographic techniques and is currently working on a series that incorporates video projections, machines, found objects, photographs and sound. Scott currently serves on the board of Society for Photographic Education (SPE Mid-Atlantic region).
