Volker Schütz (Volker Schuetz) - Niemcy

Urodzony w 1968 r. Studia: Informatyka, historia sztuki i lingwistyka.
Lomo-fotograf, fotograf i filmowiec.

Dyrektor filmowy w:
2007 - Heimat;

I'm a german pinhole artist and i'm doing pinhole MOVIES.
It would be a great plaesure for me, if you would like me to show my first pinhole movie "Heimat / Home" at your festival.

It's an experimental movie, lasting about 3 1/2 minutes and it's about "Ojczyzna" (I used a machine to translate this - so maybe it's not just correct).

There are 7 languages spoken in this movie: German, French, Kurdish, English, Turkish, Spanish and Italian.

The movie shows a young woman putting her makeup on and while doing so, she offers a very personal and multilingual definition of "HEIMAT":

"HEIMAT - that's not my discotheque. HEIMAT isn't what they tell on TV; and HEIMAT certainly isn't the country I was born in."

When she finished her makeup she knows, that something like "heimat" does not exist for her: "Home is not countries, cities, peoples and religions. There is no home. What sole remains is me."

The whole movie was shot with a pinhole camera on 35mm film, and it is available on DVD for easy projection.

You may have a look to the movie here: http://vimeo.com/3573304 (And there is also an english translation of it's text).

As I said, I would like it very much to show this movie in Poland especially during / as part of your pinhole festival!
If you like it, there would be a possibility for me to do a polish version of this movie!
