Nhung Dang
Wielka Brytania – UK Brighton As a self-taught
photographer, Nhung has an experimental approach working with a
variety of cameras and techniques, her favourite is a homemade
pinhole camera fashioned from a biscuit tin. Pinhole appeals to her
instinctive nature as a photographer where her focus is on creating
atmosphere over technical precision. Throughout her photographic
practice, Nhung’s images continually reflect her questioning
identity and belonging. Narratives in her work are often influenced
by her own personal feelings of melancholy and yearning. Nhung’s work has
been exhibited internationally, featured in various books and
publications, and she is the co-author of an ongoing blog project
called The Lost promenade. Born in Vietnam, Nhung
currently lives in Brighton, UK.
