A series about surviving the tragedy of the death of a best friend, a family member. A piece of my life that had an „initiation effect”. The work, which from the beginning was a way to get out of the painful memories and as a tribute to a loved one. As a result of moving to another country, has taken on a different meaning, filled with a different context, finally it is not only about memory, but also the loss of roots, the duality of nature, like a split personality, into before and after, about finding a shelter place, about the gap formed.
Bio / CV
GEORGII VINOGRADOV Born in Saint-Petersburg, Georgii Vinogradov lives and works between France and Russia. After visual and literary studies, he decided to focus on documentary photography. He photographs cities, society, ruined dreams. His work as an author halfway between fixes and moving images, influenced by his university studies in photography and then in cinema, seeks to capture the fiction of the urban environment. While exhibiting regularly in France and abroad, he produces various photographic works for commission. Based in Lyon, France
